ORANGE MOON- symbolism in wicca?

in terms of english (or welsh and english wicca and paganism)- is there any meaning to this? i saw a large, yellow-orange moon at 5 am this morning. its the middle of april, and im on the north coast of cornwall, a few miles from the sea (ie no airbourne pollutants). when i saw it i felt really alarmed, but cant find any definate mention of this online, in terms of wicca or paganism. is there anything?

I'm not familiar with specifically an orange moon, but in witchcraft orange often is associated with success, business matters and legal matters.

i also found this

The moon turning red is a celestial phenomena that occurs when the Earth eclipses the moon from the Sun. The light from the sun is refracted by the Earth so that the red end of the spectrum shines upon the moon which is then bounced back to earth. Neat huh?

Now, what this means to the Wiccans? I dunno. It is a nature based belief system that recognizes other celestial events such as the solstices and equinoxes so I'm sure they take note of it

and this

I've heard a few myths concerning an orange/red moon.
First of all, it's called a Blood Moon. It may, in myth and folktales, mean that something bad is about to happen.

Of course modern science has explained this phenomenon as smog and dust or smoke in the air. But, the last time I saw a true Blood Moon was just a few days before 9/11. So I guess it all depends on whether you want to believe in the myth or not.

thats all i could find... :)

I've felt drawn to Cornwall. It looks beautiful there. What are the people like? I don't know much about moons except they are orange-red when we have forest fires in the west US.

If you see the moon skewed through the atmosphere, including simple water droplets, you're always going to see the shorter wavelengths of light clearer. That means you're going to see red, orange and yellow over blue, green and violet.

When you block long wavelengths from white light reflecting off of the moon it appears to be the color of the short wavelengths.

In fact, if you followed the moon from highest in the sky to lowest you'll see it start as a tinge and go all the way to near red.
